Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science
C2SR Student and Graduate Teaching Assistant Meera Gopinath Sujatha won the Best Paper
Award at the 2024 IEEE World AI IoT Congress (AIIoT) Conference in Seattle, Washington.
Her paper is titled “Classification of Microcystins Based on Temperature Data in North

Ph.D. Student in Electrical Engineering
C2SR Student and Graduate Research Assistant Tanzim Jim Hassan was awarded 3rd place for his poster titled "Multi-Stage Hybrid Machine Learning (MS-HML) Model for UAV Battery Drain Estimation" in the Graduate Level Best Poster category at IEEE PES T&D 2024, one of the largest IEEE conferences in the field.

C2SR Student and Graduate Teaching Assistant Meera Gopinath Sujatha have been awarded a 2024 Summer Dissertation Completion Fellowship award of $7,500. The award will be deposited into your student account in Student Account Services at the beginning of the summer term.

C2SR student and Graduate Research Assistant Farishta Rahman secured second place for her poster titled "Empowering Resilience: Insights from ChatGPT on the Texas 2021 Power Outage," at the Cybersecurity Awareness and Research Symposium (CARS) 2023 poster competition organized by the C2SR.

C2SR Student and Graduate Research Assistant Tanzim was awarded 1st place for his poster titled: "UAS-guided Electric and Magnetic Field Data Distribution Across Transmission Lines" presented at the 55th North American Power Symposium (NAPS) 2023 held October 15th-17th, 2023 at Western Carolina University.
