Order of the Engineer Ceremony
The Order of the Engineer Ceremony is for undergraduates and graduate students. We hope all will consider participating in the Ceremony, which symbolizes commitment to the engineering profession and, through it, to society.
The ceremony in May includes a social and is generally held on the Friday before graduation at the Burtness Theatre. The ceremony in December includes a luncheon and is generally held the day of graduation at the Memorial Union. You may invite parents and guest to attend your initiation into the “Order of the Engineer” and reception.
An Order of the Engineer Information Meeting is generally held the Friday prior to finals week for those that have signed up for the ceremony.
For further information on our National Order of the Engineer see the following website http://www.order-of-the-engineer.org/
