Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Program
The faculty and staff of the Chemical Engineering Department are focused on serving the needs of our students. While we have provided a variety of information that should help you plan your program of study, we strongly encourage you to visit with your faculty advisor to help answer any questions you may have. You should also feel free to stop in and visit with Connie or Dr. Mann. It is our goal to help you through the program and meet your graduation and long-term career goals.
In addition to the links on the left of the page describing the various attributes of the program, we offer the following tools to help our students:
Book List: Text books we use for each of our classes. This can help you plan your book purchases.
Prerequisite Map: Flowchart helps show which classes are perquisites to upper division classes. This can help you determine which classes are important to take early in your program.
Course Tracker: Spreadsheet is designed to provide you with a “score sheet” to help you track your progress towards your degree. You should verify with your advisor that the courses you have taken meet our elective requirements.
Essential Studies Worksheet: This worksheet helps you track your progress towards meeting your Essential Studies requirements. Several chemical engineering classes meet Essential Study course and/or overlay requirements.
Essential Study Courses: Listing of courses that are approved by UND as meeting the various essential study requirements. If you have questions regarding any specific courses, check with you advisor before you sign up.
Transfer Agreements: UND has developed transfer agreements with a number of schools in North Dakota and Minnesota. This link will take you to the Registrar’s Office and will let you see a course by course equivalency of courses as transferred to UND.
Collaborative Programs: If you are a student at another school within the North Dakota system and interested in taking a course from UND, this link will help you through the process.
